Lakeland Power offers several ways for you to pay your bill.

Pre-Authorized Payment

Pre-Authorized Payment is the easiest method of payment available. You will still continue to receive your monthly Lakeland Power bill. The total amount due is withdrawn automatically from your bank account on the due date shown. To enroll for the Pre-Authorized Payment Plan, download the enrollment/authorization form and please e-mail, mail or deliver a completed enrollment/authorization form accompanied of a void cheque to our office:

Equal Payment Plan

We can help you budget! Register for our Equal Payment Plan (EPP) and to enrol for the Equal Payment Plan, you also have to be enrolled in the Pre-Authorized Payment Plan. Download the enrollment/authorization form and submit it to us. Once processed, you will be notified of your monthly EPP amount.

Banking

Your bill can be paid via your financial institution online, by phone or in person (by using the remittance stub). Please note that your account number is a total of 8 digits and all 8 digits must be provided to properly credit Lakeland Power with your payment. If your account number is not 8 digits long, please precede it with zeros. Note that if you move within the Lakeland Power’s service area, your account number will change and it must be updated with your financial institution. Lakeland Power assumes no liability for the electronic payments to incorrect account numbers.

Note: Payments mailed or paid at your financial institution may take several days to reach us. Please ensure that we receive your payment before the due date to avoid late payment charges.

Credit Card

We accept payments using Visa or MasterCard through Paymentus, a third party online bill payment system. Please enter your 8 digit account number, preceded with zeros if your account number is not 8 digits, when making your credit card payment. Click HERE to pay using your credit card.

You may also pay by credit card over the phone at 1-866-417-2810.

Drop-Off / In Person

You also can pay your Lakeland Power bill by cash, cheque or money order. However, we recommend that you do not put cash into any of our drop boxes. You can either drop off or mail your payment with the remittance stub at one of the following addresses:

How much of your bill does Lakeland keep?

As a utility, Lakeland collects 100% of the charges on the bill, but we only keep a small portion of those charges. The rest is passed on to the government.
