Call Before You Dig

Its the law.

Click before you dig on any size project outside your home.

Are you planning renovations outside of your home?

First, you must make sure that your renovations can be completed safely. If they involve excavation, it is important to call for locates before breaking ground, as there is always a risk of hitting underground infrastructure.

There might be underground services, such as power lines, on your property. Accidentally hitting one of these can cause injuries, property damage and power outages. Verifying service locations before you begin your renovations is required by law under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

If you plan to put in fence posts, plant a tree, excavate for a pool, deck or new addition, please contact Ontario One Call to have them locate service lines on and near your property. To book a free appointment, call 1-800-400-2255 or go online to at least five business days before you plan to start digging.
